"Avatar 3," previously set for release in 2024, has been pushed back a year to Dec I find it difficult to believe the avatar delay was primarily dictated by the visual effects production because a) weta, lightstorm, and the rest would have already agreed upon and planned for the 2024 release date given production of both films 2 and 3 were ongoing concurrently and b) the studios often don't give a shit what the vfx houses.
